Eve of Destruction

 America- it is explodin’ - Violence flarin’

And rifles loadin’

You’re old enough to kill - not old enough for COVID,

Gotta fight for freedom - so that’s a gun I’m totin,’

And even the Brazos river - has bodies floatin’

But you tell me

Over and over and over again my friend,

You don’t believe we’re on the Eve of Destruction..
