The Righteous Brothers and many others from the 50's and 60's (and even the 70's), gave us real music with melody and harmony and words that meant something (for the most part). Good music is timeless. Ferry Cross the Merzy, Walk Away Renee, Those Were the Days. These songs immediately transport us, the tunes stay with us. They are transcendent.
